We have been referencing the folowing in our documentation “http://ns.hr-xml.org/2006-02-28 BackgroundCheck.xsd” but it doesn’t “work” as it appears to be an invalid URL. I don’t know where the space came from or the original source, but I need to reference an “online” version of the XSI definition. What is the proper URL for version 2.6 HR XML?

    Hello,

I read here (http://hropenstandards.org/recruiting-standards-project/) that the Position Opening standard is “available in lightweight JSON”. However I can not find it. Could you please give me a hint how to access it?

    Thanks in advance!

    • Hello,
The Lightweight Recruiting standards was a one-off spec. It doesn’t comply with our new JSON specifications so we didn’t carry it forward. We did just release the 4.1 JSON standards, which includes the Recruiting Candidate.
The recruiting workgroup is working on Position Opening and we would love to have your participation. If you would…[Read more]

    Hi,

I am trying to read candidate information who is hired in on. I have seen the WSDL in download standards and examples provided in the standard downloads.

Can any help me in knowing
    1. How we can see the full candidate information in xsd format.
    2. Any WSDL URL that is existing that we can in any other products like .Net or…[Read more]

    • Hello,
For #2, the WSDL provided in the downloaded standard is really a sample to help getting going to build a new web service based on this. For specific integrations to specific products such as OraclePeoplesoft or Oracle Taleo, they are provided by the vendors directly, not by us.

Could you please clarify your question #1? In the HR-XML 3.3…[Read more]

    • Hi Nirajku,

The 3.X Payroll specification does not include the information you have in your list. You can add them via the user area. I would also recommend you join the current Payroll project so you can ensure your requirements are added to the new JSON/XML specification. Please feel free to contact me directly regarding any questions you may…[Read more]

    3.1 equivalent to 2.6 Organization
    Hello

I m looking to use hr-xml for Human resource and for customers.

In 2.6 there is Organization type with all needed information, but in can’t find anything like that in 3.1
    What could i use?

    Thank you

    • Hi G. Mellare,

You might want to try PositionOrganization. It’s located in Common/Components.

      Thanks!

      Kim Bartkus

    • Do you have an example of en full defined organization ?
      Thank you

    • In can’t find in 3.1 something like this in 2.6

    • Unfortunately, we don’t have a complete organization sample in 3.X. Most of our examples in 3.X are specific use cases that didn’t use the full organization – just a few data fields were needed.

You should be able to identify the use of each field from the definitions or comparing to the example above.

      Best,

Looking for Elements / Attributes in Provisioning
    Hi,

I am looking for attributes which reference the following areas within an HR solution

Employee Actions: such as movement, maternity leave, sickness, disciplinary
Employee pay:Pay Change Reason,Pay Multipliers, Overtime Hours
    Contract Info: Notice Period,
    Many Thanks

    Benjamin Janes

    • Hi B. Janes,

You may want to look in the Recruiting specification. The Candidate/Profile structure contains information on the job including pay information.

Provisioning/Indicative Data may also include info you need.

      I hope that helps!

    Multiple Position Openings
I would like to create an xml file of multiple job postings. Is there an xsd that I could use for this? I see the PositionOpening.xsd, but this is specific to one posting.

    Thanks,

    Nicole

    • Hi Nicole,

PositionOpening is the correct schema. You can have multiple Position Profiles to specify multiple job postings. You could also use the BOD ProcessPositionOpening to allow multiple Position Openings.

      Best,

      Kim

    Missing Schema
I’m missing the ‘OAGi’ schemas specified at this location: schemaLocation=”../../../../org_openapplications_platform/1_2/Common/OAGi/Components/Meta.xsd”.

Where can I get hold of these?

    Many thanks

Where is the schema for BackgroundCheck
Where can I find the schema related to the BackgroundCheck? I am reviewing an XML and observed hr-xml as part of its namespace so that gave me a hint where to look. Timecard/ReportedTime/AdditionalData question
I am trying to serialize TimeCardType class. I fill the class and succesfully serialize it to Xml.

Problem appears in xml beacause there is one missing intermediate tag, that I inserted with red color in my example. Everything else is in right place.

    Employee Benefits – Transaction specification
    Hi,

Is there a specification document available for Employee Benefits (US Enrollment)? This is mainly to know what an element is used for (description of the element) and usage (required/optional), if an element can be repeated etc. Thank you.

    Swarna

    • Hi Swarna,

Yes there is documentation for the US Enrollment specification. You should find it in the documentation folder within the download.

      Thanks!

      Kim

    • Hi Kim,
Yes I did refer that. However it does not contain the element level detail. I also referred to http://neptune.pilotfish-net.com/HRXML/, however here also the description/usage is not provided for all fields (for some it is available). I want to know the structure i.e. what is parent group, child elements, can the group be repeated,…[Read more]

    • Hi Swarna,

If you didn’t find the details you needed in the documentation, the schema contains some of the element descriptions. Between the documentation, schema and examples, you should be able to identify the most of the elements.

      Best regards,

      Kim
