Welcome & HR Open Standards Presentation – Jan-Willem van der Boom
Welcome to the 2017 Community Meeting! HR Open Standards Consortium is the only independent, non-profit, volunteer-led organization dedicated to the development and promotion of a standard suite of specifications to enable human resource related data exchanges. Our standards are free, current global HR vocabularies developed in a transparent, collaborative, consensus-based environment open to all HR professionals and organizations.
GDPR & DataProtection – John Kleeman & Tania Teetz
New data protection regulations including the GDPR are changing how the HR industry can manage and share data. This session by experienced industry practitioners will describe how the GDPR and other data protection regulations impact HR systems short term and long term, and explain how HR systems providers and employers can work together to protect personal information.
Jan-Willem van der Boom is founder and major shareholder of Manus Software and Services BV, a pan-European Work Force Management and Time Attendance supplier, with main focus on compliancy. In his current role Jan-Willem went back to his roots and is responsible for Strategy and Development.
Manus Software and Services was originally founded by Jan-Willem in 1988, during his study Technical Computer Science at the Rotterdam Technical University. He filled the role of CEO until 2012.
He has actively been involved in HR-Open for the past 3 years.
Privately he enjoys cooking and sailing. Jan-Willem is married and lives in Zwijndrecht, The Netherlands.
John Kleeman MA MBCS C. Eng is Executive Director and Founder of Questionmark, the assessment management software company.
He has been heavily involved in assessment software development and using assessments for compliance for around 30 years and has also participated in several ISO and technical body standards initiatives.
John is a regular writer and speaker on assessment, data protection and compliance matters.
Sascha Juchem has experience of over a decade in designing and implementing e-recruitment solutions with Milch & Zucker, a Germany based provider of talent management solutions.
He has been involved in building Milch & Zucker’s applicant tracking system “BeeSite” from the very first day and is currently the head of the development team.
His impetus is about helping recruiters find the right candidates and facilitate candidates to find their desired jobs.
Sascha has been involved in the HR Open Standards Recruiting work group for several years and was actively participating in the definition of standards for lightweight recruiting and the recent JSON standards.
