The HR Open Standards Payroll workgroup is tasked with developing and maintaining payroll standards which provide employers flexibility and save them time and money when integrating systems with benefits administrators, benefits providers, and payroll processors.

Current Project
The Payroll Specification enables the submission of payroll data to an organization that processes payrolls. After payroll has been processed by a 3rd party payroll service provider, employee and employer payroll result information related to taxes, earnings and deductions should be available from within the source HRIS system in order to address the following activities: Interfaces, Inquiries, Reporting, and Analytics.
