Technology Trends in Human Capital Management
Jim Jensen, SVP | Ceridian

Staying on top of technology trends isn’t simply good to do, it’s critical to your work in driving your organization and people strategies forward. How will you help your workforce adapt to changing roles and functions brought about by technology? Perhaps more importantly, how will you leverage technology to transform the role of human resources and workforce management practices in your organization?

Jim Jensen, is a well-known thought leader on the topic of digital disruption and how it’s changing the interaction between people, processes and technologies.

The Latest Trends at The Intersection of  Future of Work, Technology and HR
Enrique Rubio, Founder | Hacking HR

The Fourth Industrial Revolution or Industry 4.0 is dramatically transforming the way people and business operate. What is the role of the Human Resources function as this technology-driven revolution unravels? How does HR address people operation challenges (talent management, employee experience, contingent workforce, collaboration) with technology to remain a relevant business function in times of disruption? How does HR go about its own transformation in times of disruption? What are the opportunities for HR to add increasing value using technology?

During this talk, I will address some of the most pressing challenges for HR. I will also speak about the four core values for the future of HR: putting people first, aligning people and business, becoming more agile, and leveraging technology.

Now that we have passed “peak hype” for blockchain, there is an opportunity to take a closer look and separate realistic expectations from the inflated. As blockchain is nothing more than a reconstitution of tried and true technologies, there is a solid technical foundation upon which can be built new and innovative solutions for HR. This session will provide a summary of the state of blockchain as it may be applied to the HR tech industry, the headwinds it will face over the coming years, and the role standards can play in facilitating wide-spread industry adoption. A simple implementation of a blockchain will be explained and demonstrated.
