The HR Open Standards Employee Benefits workgroup develops and maintains standards that provide employers flexibility and save them time and money when integrating systems with benefits administrators and benefits providers.

Project Lead
Leslie has 14 years of experience in HR technology, with a focus on Benefits. She has participated in the benefits workgroup as a schema editor and led the group for the 4.2 release where Plan Setup was added to the schema, allowing for a more complete benefits integration.
Current Project
The benefits workgroup just finished their work on updating the Enrollment and Plan Setup schemas, as well as adding support for all plan types now in both APIs, including: Tier based, rate based and account based plans, which includes all Health and Welfare, Voluntary and Spending account benefits, along with others.
Next up is to add support for COBRA.
